Paul Sohar, whose translations of the poems of János Oláh, János Lackfi, and Sándor Kányádi appear in Square Lake Number Four, was born in Hungary and educated in the US. Dancing Embers (Twisted Spoon Press, 2002) is his second book of translations, in addition to two children’s books.  His own work has appeared recently in Aurorean, Hunger, Midwestern Quarterly, Rattle, and Sanscrit.
