Poet, novelist, critic and translator Lidia Vianu is Professor of English at the University of Bucharest. A former Fulbright lecturer at UC Berkeley and SUNY Binghamton, Vianu has published four books of literary criticism, a book of interviews, one novel, and three poetry collections, most recently Very (2001).
