Linda Wojtowick grew up in Richard Hugo country, finding torment and comfort in Missoula, Montana. She failed at attending college there, so she worked strange jobs and sought out poets and watched people pass and flunk the tests of daily life. She now lives in and around Portland, working in a bookstore and writing at night.
