Maureen Tolman Flannery, author of Secret of the Rising Up: Poems of Mexico and Remembered Into Life, edited the anthology Knowing Stones: Poems of Exotic Places. Raised on a Wyoming ranch, she lives in Chicago with her actor husband Dan and their four children. Her poems have appeared in forty anthologies and over a hundred literary reviews including Atlanta Review, Amherst Review, and Meridians.
