R. Kimm was born and raised in Central Washington State, and served as a U.S. Army (1959-62) translator in Germany. He has a B.A. from San Francisco State, an M.A. from the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. from Depaul in Chicago. After several years of teaching philosophy, he now is happily ensconced in a union blue-collar job at a just-in-time-ship plant near the Syracuse, New York, airport. His poem "They Said: History Was a Sausage Machine w. Wings" appears in Square Lake Number Two; "It Was That Way in High School" in Number Five. |
